Seven Locks Housing properties along with all other Housing Association properties in the Harborough District are let through Harborough Homesearch which is a Choice Based Lettings scheme.
Seven Locks Housing Tenants who wish to apply for a transfer need to register with Harborough Homesearch in order to be considered for housing.
Once registered, you can access the fortnightly property adverts. The adverts contain details of all current housing association vacancies and you can then apply for properties of your choice.
Harborough Homesearch or your own housing manager will advise you about the size and type of property you are eligible for.
If you have any rent arrears you will be expected to clear these before you can move. The housing association who owns the property you want to move to will ask for a rent statement from Seven Locks Housing to prove that you have a clear rent account. They will also enquire whether your tenancy has been maintained in a satisfactory manner before granting you a tenancy.
