What help can Seven Locks Housing offer?

Seven Locks Housing employs a part time Tenancy Support Officer who offers support to tenants going through particular difficulties.

The Tenancy Support Officer can help with budgeting, particularly if you have rent arrears.

Sometimes writing down all of your income and expenditure and talking it through with an independent person can help you to see what changes you need to make to your lifestyle. People with rent arrears often have other problems which are impacting on their general well being, not least the worry that comes with debt.

Tenancy Support is often short-term help sometimes with introductions to other agencies, for example health, education, training, CAB and Benefits.

The Tenancy Support Officer can also help with setting up your home if it is the first time you have lived independently.

There are only 10 place available and referrals are often made through Area Housing Managers, if you would like to be considered you should speak to your Area Housing Manager or contact the Tenancy Support Officer on 01858 414520.
