Housing benefits

If you are on a low income you may be entitled to Housing Benefit. Housing Benefit is money to help you pay your rent. The amount paid varies depending upon the amount of rent you pay, your household income and the circumstances of anyone living with you. Housing Benefit is assessed and paid by the local council. To apply for Housing Benefit you must complete a benefit claim form which you can obtain from Harborough District Council, Council Offices, Adam and Eve Street, Market Harborough, LE16 7AG. Telephone 01858 828282.

Please ensure you provide all the information required to enable your claim to be processed promptly. If your claim is successful housing benefit is paid in arrears.
