Seven Locks Housing Financial Inclusion Package

Money guidance

We are working hard to make sure all of our customers have access to advice and support, especially when hit by money problems.

Using a community initiative grant from Barclays Bank we have developed a package of services to help you manage your finances.

Helping you to access a basic bank account

Some of our customers experience financial exclusion and cannot access standard bank accounts, affordable loans or finance. This can mean they often pay more for their utility bills and rely on loans with a high interest rate.

Working with Clockwise, the local credit union, we have developed a bank account that gives our most financially excluded customers the opportunity to operate an account with Direct Debit facilities.

If you don’t have a bank account, don’t receive full Housing Benefit or you pay an element of your rent to us directly - you could also qualify for this account. In return, you agree to pay your rent by Direct Debit or Standing Order from the account.

If you want to know more contact your Housing Officer or ring Customer Services on 01858 414500.

Clockwise Credit Union

Clockwise, the local credit union, is a non-profit making financial co-operative, which any of our customers can join.

They offer ethical financial services including easy ways to save, low cost loans and other financial products.

Clockwise are authorised and regulated by the Financial services Authority.

Visit the website on www.clockwise-cu.co.uk for information on how to join.
