We define Equality as ensuring that all people are treated fairly and have access to services, information…We recognise that Diversity is about appreciating the range and breadth of people in a community or a locality and how differences can add value to society.
Seven Locks Housing has now established a Disability Action Group. This came out of our customer conference workshop in December. It met for the first time on 2nd March 2009. The Group will work with us to assess the impact of our services, policies and procedures on people with disabilities. They also want to be seen as a source of support and advice and to work with us to promote positive attitudes towards people with disabilities.
