Who We Are

 

Seven Locks Housing is a new housing organisation created to take the transfer of over 2,000 homes from Harborough District Council. Seven Locks Housing, together with the highly successful Dales Housing, is part of the Acclaim Housing Group.

Seven Locks meets tenants’ and the local community’s requirement for local ownership of assets and services with the benefits of support, expertise and economies of scale from the group.

Tenants and staff worked hard over a number of years to ensure the stock would transfer to a locally based, locally accountable housing organisation that would add value to the local community as well as provide an excellent housing service and new affordable housing. Central to this work was selecting an experienced housing association partner, Dales Housing, that understands the needs of rural communities and of transfer housing associations.
